Buttercream Frosting for Cookies

Icing cookies can be hard!

They get smashed in the container, it is too sweet, it has no flavor, etc. etc.

This is my favorite topping for sugar cookies. It hardens nicely, is just the right amount of sweet, and is super duper easy to work with.

Whether you are icing cookies for a holiday, a birthday, or just because, use this frosting recipe!

Once you have reached your desired consistency, separate into bowls and color the frosting the color of your choice. Add to pastry bags and pipe away!

*if frosting ever becomes too thick or dry, get a fork and a little cream or milk, then add to bring the frosting back to the consistency that you desire. *
