Happy National Devil’s Food Cake Day!
Anyone can make a boxed cake mix cake, but did you ever think of making cookies out of it?
Seriously one of the easiest cookie recipes I have ever made, and they taste just like brownies filled with chocolate chips!
ingredients
- 1 box devil’s food cake mix
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips
instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF. Prepare a couple of baking sheets with either parchment paper or a silicone baking mats.
- In a large bowl, pour in the cake mix. Add oil and eggs, then mix to combine.
- Fold in white chocolate and milk chocolate chips with a rubber spatula.
- Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, scoop out small balls of dough. Roll dough back and forth in your hands, then place cookie dough on prepared cookie sheets about 2-3 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, remove from baking sheets after a couple minutes and cool completely on a wire rack.
