Devil’s Food Cake Cookies

Happy National Devil’s Food Cake Day!

Anyone can make a boxed cake mix cake, but did you ever think of making cookies out of it?

Seriously one of the easiest cookie recipes I have ever made, and they taste just like brownies filled with chocolate chips!

ingredients

  • 1 box devil’s food cake mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips

instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Prepare a couple of baking sheets with either parchment paper or a silicone baking mats.
  2. In a large bowl, pour in the cake mix. Add oil and eggs, then mix to combine.
  3. Fold in white chocolate and milk chocolate chips with a rubber spatula.
  4. Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, scoop out small balls of dough. Roll dough back and forth in your hands, then place cookie dough on prepared cookie sheets about 2-3 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, remove from baking sheets after a couple minutes and cool completely on a wire rack.

Devil’s food cake cookies

Mix to fully combine.

Add in the white chocolate chips as well as milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips and fold with a rubber spatula.

Using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon, scoop out small balls of dough. Roll dough back and forth in your hands, then place cookie dough on prepared cookie sheets about 2-3 inches apart.

Bake for 8-10 minutes!

Remove from baking sheets after a couple minutes and cool completely on a wire rack.
